Some version confusion.
« on: January 08, 2011, 10:54:57 pm »
Just joined the forums!.... Hi!  ::)

So I have managed to get the server running on my Windows 7 machine, and I do believe I downloaded the latest "Beta" version.
Running it over port 1390...

I have poked around the forums and other documentation and have been looking for answers about the version number beside the "Mineserver" logo in the executable CMD window.

Mine reads

v0.1.15 (Alpha)

Is this the version of the server? Or is the the version of the game I am running.
If it is the game version, how can I get that up to the newest "Beta" engine?

Thanks.

It's the version of the Mineserver, but we are just updating it quite randomly because we have no "official" releases yet ;) Mostly we just use the commit hashes. I'm trying to make new windows builds every now and then.

Good to know, and thanks for the response.

Any developments on the very odd trees? Or plans, if any.
