Well I tried to see If i could get a reasonable offer to purchase mineserver.com, heres the response.

Drives me nuts that people can simply hammer out tons of address names hoping that it eventually means something to someone who has money to throw away.

I would prefer they die in a carpet fire ;)

Stupid domain squatters. Strongly agree with nicklozon on this one, they all need to die in a fire. Or multiple fires if that's more convenient.

I know how that feels.....I lost my .net domain because I forgot to renew it right away, all it was was a site for dumping my random files. Mirror this or that and a small forum, apparently someone thought it was worth 8 grand...

Why not just use a .org? It seems more appropriate anyways, since .org was designed for non-profit organizations and Mineserver is non-profit, isn't it?

I just went crazy ;D and registered mineserver.ms , but their system is not completely online or whatever, so the domain doesn't work yet. I'll setup a redirect, too.

Contact ICANN

If someone is squatting a domain just to try and make money off your potential traffic. ICANN sometimes can cancel that domain.
