hmm..sorry for the delay, I've been wondering about this.

Maybe too slow upload rate on the server?

Im having this same issue, been trying for a few days, i considered that it may have been to do with an update notch had done so i waited till today and used the more recent build, yet still had same issue.

I accept that this is unfinished and dont mind thhat it doesnt work fully yet, i just like to back a horse early, and this will most likely be the software ill use.

If any developments are made on this error i'd be grateful.

fyi, the only error i get is:
in client:
Quote
end of stream

in console:
Quote
error writing to client

ok, getting the
Quote
recv error

on client now.

Whats odd is it seems to connect briefly (random time interval) then client disconnects with above error. Same error as before on console however.

full client error:
Quote
external error: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed

I have a feeling this is caused by corrupted inventory for some reason. I've been deleting world/players/<player>.dat file when this happened and it seems to work. I've been fixing the inventory so it shouldn't corrupt it anymore (no fixed windows binary available yet!)

That happens here too. I think that it happens more quickly if the other player look right at me, 'cause when I was out of sight, it took a little longer to the other player get kicked. Oh and Fador, I'm the Walter who entered your server with my cousin today XD

I get these same errors, seems to happen mostly when I'm using the inventory, making the inventory/chests/worktables etc most dangerous places to be.
it's impossible to handle some blocks, such as 'rosered' dye. which causes one of the following errors instantly.

( if you happen to end up with one of these "instantcrash blocks" the answer is a pit of lava. You step into it and kill yourself, respawning with an empty inventory. then you can use your inventory again! Cheesy )

Recv Error

external error: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed

End of Stream

sockets.cpp::client_callback(): Socket had no data to read
